Join us year-round for a thrilling zip line adventure through the trees of Bretton Woods. The adventure includes a network of platforms high in the hemlocks connected by nine zip lines, two sky bridges, and three rappels. This excursion offers both a thrilling experience and an intimate look into the wilds of the White Mountains, with sweeping views of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range. | Canopy Tour duration depends on group size, with groups of 4+ averaging roughly 2-3 hours and up. Smaller groups should expect anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours. The longest zip is over 1000 ft. long and the highest is 165 feet off the forest floor. Each tour can accommodate up to eight participants who descend 1000 feet in elevation with two adventure guides, from the top of Rosebrook Canyon to the base of Bretton Woods.

Participants must be at least 12 years-old and weigh between 90-250 pounds.

Join our experienced guides for the awe-inspiring West Wall guided rock climbing adventure at the Bretton Woods Adventure Center. This rock climbing experience is designed for people with a wide range of climbing abilities and previous climbing experience is not required. This three-hour guided rock climb is tailored to each group based on individual abilities and goals. One guide will accompany up to three guests and work with each group to choose the most appropriate route. Guests will be belayed on all technical climbing sections. Fixed ropes may be used as aid if needed. | After a ride up the Skyway Gondola, a short hike will take you to the bottom of the southwest face of Mount Oscar, better known to Bretton Woods skiers as West Mountain. Several routes of varying difficulty, all approximately 400’ in length, ascend a granite cliff to an elevation of 3,000 feet. Situated in the White Mountain National Forest, the cliffs provide open views of the Pemigewasset Wilderness and Zealand Valley. Reservations are required for this activity. Our custom guided fly fishing river adventures will allow you to test your skills on a classic New England trout stream located on the Omni Mount Washington Resort property. In the shadow of Mount Washington and the Presidential Mountain Range, you and your guide will explore the local streams and ponds in search of the famed rainbow trout and native brook trout. | Guests must present a valid printed fishing license from the State of New Hampshire prior to departure. If not already purchased, you may purchase a license online. The guide and the guest(s) will then get outfitted with a vest, an assortment of flies, and fly rod. Join our experienced guide for a “teach by terrain” fly-fishing experience on the Ammonoosuc River. These clinics are ideal for beginners; teaching basics of fly-casting, choosing the proper fly for your quarry, and navigating the river to find ideal places to throw a line in. | Guests meet at the Stone Pillar Lodge 10 minutes prior to the lesson before getting all the necessary equipment and heading out to the water. Fly-casting and fly-fishing clinics are restricted to ages 13 and up. All participants 16 and older must have a NH State Fishing License, which can be purchased ahead of time online at the NH Fish and Game website. A parent or guardian must be present to sign a waiver for anyone under 18 years of age. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. Join one of our guides for a scenic, 2 hour ride on our resort mountain bike trails. These rides are geared toward enjoying the scenery and riding at a pace and on trails that are appropriate for your skill and fitness level. Typically, we will ride from 6-10 miles round trip, with some up and down on mostly moderate trails. There are a few trails with more challenging climbs if you want to push a little harder. Participants should be in good health, know how to ride a bicycle, and be comfortable riding on uneven surfaces. |

Join our adventure guide as they lead you on an easy to moderate hike along the summit of Bretton Woods ski area to a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the Zealand Valley and Pemigewasset Wilderness in the heart of New Hampshire's White Mountains. On a clear day, visibility stretches far into Vermont and New York. | This is a easy to moderate hike. Please dress accordingly and be prepared for a sudden change in the weather.

Hikes depart the guest services desk daily at 1pm starting June 15-October 14. Fee includes gondola ride to the summit where the hike will begin.

Age requirement: 8 years+. Must be able hike on uneven ground and lose rocks. Minor’s must be accompanied by an adult.
